Jay Daniel Verano

THE MANY F.A.C.E.S...

I'M JAY DANIEL VERANO the DASHING MODEL -TURNED -PERFUMER WITH A BIG HEART AND  BIG DREAMS
The moment  enters my room, the first impression one may get is “Mukhang ako suplado” and unapproachable.
But behind that quiet exterior  is a young man with so much fire and passion within him. The man with many F.A.C.E.S. He can be relentless once he sets his mind into anything and everything he loves – Fashion and Fitness …Art (and Photography)…Culinary…Environment…and  Scents.
Having been born underprivileged, this only pushed  further to dream big, work hard and focus on my goals. The fulfillment of my dreams are not for him alone, but for his family. Such are his mother and his siblings whom he loves more than anything in this world. He also strives hard so he can help make a difference in this world by actively sharing his time and resources to his causes, being an advocate of nature and the Dumagats for many years now.  Jay is the founder of The Warriors of Nature.
Jay is a fitness buff and began his career as a professional fashion and ramp model. He also won major pageant titles here and abroad, In 2016, Jay won first-runner up in the Mr. Golden Universe competition held in Manaus, Brazil. He was also the Philippine representative in the 2017 Top International Model of the World held in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Jay is also an all-around creative guy ---a whiz  at photography, an artist/painter, can actually do art coffee (being a coffee lover himself), a culinary expert (having had formal schooling and training), an artisan soapmaker --- and a PERFUMER --- his greatest passion of all.
This young entrepreneur’s  extensive exposure in the fashion industry with his love for anything and everything beautiful led him to create his own line of alluring scents under the name VISOCORPO which means Face and Body in Italian. VISOCORPO is not just a moneymaking business. For this model-turned-entrepreneur, VISOCORPO is his obra maestra, an expression of his emotions through the scents that he creates. There is POWER IN EACH SCENT as it can draw people close to you even without words. VISOCORPO was also established to help support his advocacies.
What makes VISOCORPO signature scents so special.? “I have personally created over 30 varieties to choose from, each one distinct from the other. It is made with 25% oil from Italy and is 25% organic from the freshest of flowers. With its excellent quality and long-lasting effect, VISOCORPO perfumes are surprisingly priced affordably “, says Jay. “We can even create your own personal scent that is truly yours alone and brand it under your name. Plus VISOCORPO perfumes can be tailor-fitted as perfect giveaways for parties and celebrations such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. that your guests will surely appreciate and love. It’s unique. And it’s useful”, added Jay.

Siquijor Island

For most Filipinos, Siquijor is a mysterious other-world of witchcraft and the unknown. True, this tiny island province is famous for its mountain-dwelling mangkukulam (healers) who brew traditional ointments for modern ailments. But these days Siquijor's most popular healing practice involves a cocktail and a deck chair at any number of its laid-back and wonderfully affordable beach resorts. Attractions include great diving, waterfalls, caves and forest walks in the hilly interior. Just about everywhere on Siquijor is great for snorkelling – find the nearest beach and dive in. Like many beaches in the Visayas, swimming is only possible during high tide, and wearing thongs (flip-flops) is recommended as protection against sea urchins.

SIQUIJOR

Formerly called “Isla de Fuego” or Island of Fire during the early Spanish era for the glow caused by numerous fireflies at night. Siquijor today is fast becoming a tourist hot spot in Central Visayas due to its natural beauty and distinct charm that keep attracting people to uncover the island’s mystique.

📍 HOW TO GET TO SIQUIJOR
From Dumaguete City, ride a multicab to take you the Port of Dumaguete. Fast craft and ferry to Siquijor is daily from 5:45AM to 7PM.

📍 WHERE TO STAY IN SIQUIJOR
We suggest to stay around San Juan, Siquijor. Its only around 20 minutes away from the Siquijor port and the island tour usually start in this side. Check The Bruce Luxury Private Cottages. Highly Recommended! 💯

📍 THINGS TO DO IN SIQUIJOR
See the caption and pictures below.

📍 TRAVEL TIPS
📎 Ride a fastcraft instead of Ferry. Ferry will consume almost 3 hours of your time.
📎 To enjoy the island, start your tour as early as possible - 6AM or 7AM.
📎 Siquijor can be explored on a day trip.
📎 Best time to visit Siquijor is during summer or dry months of November to May.
📎 Try Dagsa Restautant in San Juan. Don't believe them when they say food is only good for 2, its actually good for 4. 😂

Suggestion!
